Make-up Policy

Make-up Policies and Procedures

*2020 Unlimited Make-ups- Due to extended closures from State shutdowns and restricted classes during 2020, all unlimited make-ups during those closure periods will be honored in 2021 until June 2021. After this time all unused 2020 make-ups due to State closures will be forfeited*

Please note that when you pay to reserve a spot for your child in a reserved time, we are holding that spot for you whether you come or not. Other children may be turned away because the day and time has reached the maximum that we allow to ensure proper student:teacher ratio. Regular attendance is strongly enforced so that your child will receive the maximum benefit and value from the program. However, we understand that situations may arise that you will be unable to attend your regularly scheduled class and so we offer make-ups and a single use vacation credit for each student.

The following are our rules and policies regarding make-up classes:

There is no prorating or refunds for missed reserved times. In the event that we are closed due to holidays or any unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, State closures, etc, you may schedule a make-up class.

Students are entitled to a maximum of 1 make-up per session, unless due to unforeseen circumstances noted previously. If you miss 2 or more classes, only 1 make-up may be scheduled. Make-ups must be scheduled online via your Customer Portal account. 24-hour notification is required to schedule a make-up class. Walk-in make-up classes are not permitted.

As of 2021, make-up classes will only be offered on selected Sundays, usually one Sunday per month unless otherwise specified. Sign-ups for these Sunday make-up classes will be available at 9:00am on the Monday before the Sunday make-up is offered. Requests are taken online via your Customer Portal account only.

Your child must have missed their class before scheduling a make-up class.

Your child must be currently enrolled in a class in order to attend a make-up class.  There can be no make-ups scheduled on dates past your dis-enrollment date.

Make-ups must be done within 1 session of the missed class. (Example: If you miss a class in Session 1, you have until the end of Session 2 to make-up the class)

24-hour notification is required to reschedule a make-up class. If you miss a scheduled make-up class it will be counted as your make-up and you will not be able to schedule another. Limited make up times are available, and other people may need the day you are scheduled to come for the make-up. If you fail to come, it is still a spot in the class that is being held for you. If you know you will not be able to attend your scheduled make up class, please contact our office 24 hours prior to the scheduled make up so that we may release the spot to someone else

Additionally, make ups are offered as a courtesy so please try to reserve your make up class for an unexpected illness or an important schedule conflict.
