Code of Conduct

Family Code of Conduct:

Island Tumblers Gymnastics is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all of our staff and families. To maintain this, the following general activities will not be accepted:

-Any activity that threatens the safety of our staff members and families

-Any activity that threatens the well-being of the facility

-Disruptive profanity, vulgar or threatening language

Failure to comply with the family code of conduct may result in your being asked to leave the facility and/or child's immediate removal from the program, waiting list or any activity here at Island Tumblers Gymnastics. Island Tumblers Gymnastics reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.


Student Code of Conduct:

It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to explain this policy to the student prior to attending  their reserved time so that he/she can understand the consequences of their actions.

Students at this facility are expected to treat all ITG staff, visitors and each other with RESPECT. This means there will be NO TOLERANCE for the following behaviors:

-Bulling - defined as name calling, pranks, excluding others with intent to cause emotional harm, ect.

-Physical Altercation - defined as intentional physical contact with intent to harm another student or staff member.

-Causing Distractions - defined as unsolicited remarks, physical misconduct, ect.

These policies are in place to help foster a productive learning environment for all students. Supervisors may use their best judgment to determine necessary action if an incident occurs including, but not limited to:

Asking the student to sit out on the sideline (after a warning has been given)

Taking away stamps at the end of class (Twinkling/Rising Stars)

Removing the student from the reserved time to sit in the office until a parent or guardian can pick the student up
